Reusable components & engineering enablement
Design Systems & Developer Tooling
Installable UI components, hosted documentation and reusable tooling for product engineers.
Business problem
The challenge
Teams needed a practical way to reuse components and tokens across applications without repeating installation and setup work.
Technical solution
Our approach
Generated shadcn registry, hosted Storybook and documented component/setup contracts.
- 01
Build the component registry
Built the shadcn registry service/generator to discover components, hooks, assets and tokens; rewrite monorepo imports; infer dependencies; and serve installable registry assets.
- 02
Document and extend the system
Hosted browsable Storybook, documented installation/contribution and extended contextual menus, status badges, reach visuals and shared URL helpers.
- 03
Enable the wider team
Contributed MFE starter/setup documentation, local proxy routes and interview exercises for React/API, TypeScript/Express, CSV parsing, SQL and QA.
Results & impact
Project outcomes
Installable UI components, hosted documentation and reusable tooling for product engineers.
Shared components and tokens
Registry generation resolves source files and dependencies for consuming applications.
Team development workflows
Storybook and setup guidance make components and conventions easier to adopt.
