Onboarding, account state & cross-origin sessions
Authentication & Session Reliability
More reliable signup, advertiser-domain approval and session synchronization across product surfaces.
Business problem
The challenge
Account-creation races, domain issues and cross-origin session feedback could interrupt onboarding or produce repeated requests.
Technical solution
Our approach
Validated onboarding, profile-aware redirects and deduplicated broadcast/socket synchronization.
- 01
Guide domain remediation
Built company-URL/logo validation and domain-approval issue handling, retries, configured limits and escalation.
- 02
Make signup state explicit
Fixed redirects racing MNTN profile creation and added registration failure/retry tests. Earlier work also established an SMS two-factor authentication foundation/POC.
- 03
Break session feedback loops
Fixed Flight Deck cross-origin session-sync loops using shared deduplication and throttling to bound repeated broadcast and network activity.
Results & impact
Project outcomes
More reliable signup, advertiser-domain approval and session synchronization across product surfaces.
Signup navigation
Redirects wait for the required MNTN profile creation step.
Session synchronization
Deduplication and throttling prevent repeated cross-origin feedback.
